What started as a pop-up Mermaid Parade has now become an annual Merfolk Event!

It all began at The Art Parlour Gallery with the retrospective of Luke Ratray's Coney Island Mermaids. The Coney Island Mermaid Parade had a "march in place" parade during the pandemic and I thought this would be a great way to combine the two events! We had the art opening on a Friday and the parade on Saturday. Luke stayed and photographed our parade which was an extra treat!

First known as the Frenchtown Mermaid Parade, we changed our name to the Mermaid Mingle (due to trademark infringement with the official Coney Island Mermaid Parade. Oops!)

This year we will have a Mermaid Mingle in partnership with FINNBAR on Saturday, August 29th starting at 6pm. It's going to be a blast so I hope you can make it! 

The event will be held on the patio and in the event of rain, we will have a rain date the following day, Aug. 30th at 5pm.
